Recently my City was approched by a special interst group to allow the building of transitonal housing for the homeless within City limits- (currently not allowed by our zoning standards)

  1. Has your City used a Special Use permit to allow the building of a transitional housing facility for the homeless?
If so, what standards did you use when defining the terms of the permit?

  2. Has your City chosen to work creatively and collaboratively with community groups to facilitate education oppurtunities on commuity issues like homelessness?
