The American Library Association offers many professional resources for staff development and library support staff education and training.

I work for a County government, and the County's primary training is run through our HR Dept., comprised mainly of periodic classes. However, for the staff in my own small dept., I purchase books and DVD's of various professional development subjects. I also am in the process of developing a staff training program related to the industry we are in: business licensing. Staff finds this training especially helpful. Good luck with developing your own training program - it will be well worth the effort you put into it.
