Track Progress with STAR's Performance Measures

Is your city or county seeking a way to set goals, measure progress and make community-wide improvements in 2016?

If so, consider joining the Spring 2016 Leadership STAR Community Program. The program is designed to provide a high level of training and technical assistance to communities as they complete a baseline assessment of their economic, environmental and social performance by pursuing certification under the STAR Community Rating System.

In the past two years, 72 communities have participated in the Leadership Program, with more than 40 communities achieving STAR Certification to date. The Spring 2016 Program will be the 5th cohort of Leadership Communities.

The one-time program fee of $7,500 covers one year of subscription benefits, including the full suite of STAR tools and resources, an in-person training for 2 staff, all associated verification costs, and more. Need-based program fee scholarships are available.

Applications are due January 15th, 2016. The spring program will commence March 1, 2016 and conclude on February 28, 2017.
