Things to do at the 2014 ICMA Conference. . .ones that will increase your organization's efficiency and effectiveness!!

When you attend this year's ICMA Conference, make plans to attend one (or more!) of  the many workshop and educational session offerings of the Center for Management Strategies.  CMS brings research, education and technical assistance to local governments in key management strategies designed to enhance organizationanl efficiency and effectiveness.  CMS will be offering a full array of programs for you at ICMA's annual conference in Charlotte in September.

The following represent CMS-presented/sponsored events, focusing on our leading practice areas of priority based budgeting, high performance organization strategies, civic engagement, surveying and data-driven decision making, process improvement  and collaborative service delivery.  All will feature our research partners as well as subject matter expert partners, so each of these promise to be a great program for you!!

In addition to these sessions, CMS will have a booth in the exhibit hall featuring our leading practice service providers who  will be vailable for free consultations and mini assessments to assist your organization in enhancing its efficiency and effectiveness. 

CMS will also be launching its new work in collaborative service delivery and process improvement at the conference.  (I will cover this in more detail in a future blog as we get closer to the conference!)   We are adding more and more information for managers to assist you in your important work of service delivery for your community.
