29 April 2011 | 8:52 PM
In the evening of April 28, Asian Coalition of Tallahassee, Chinese Association of Tallahassee in cooperation with Tallahassee city government organized a community reception for us. This reception is a great party, and I will remember this party in my life time. And also, this reception means that our visit to Tallahassee comes to the end.Tallahassee city commissioner Nancy Miller attended this reception and gave us a wonderful welcome and farewell speech. The director of environmental policy and energy resources department,Cynthia Barber hosted the reception. The Chinese food and wonderful performance are so good, making me feel like home. After almost 3 weeks in the States, I really missed my home in Beijing and missed my young son. This evening, I feel like, I am back home, along with all these Chinese stuff. As the farewell remark, I want to express my gratitude to the city of Tallahassee, especially to the environmental policy and energy resources department. The visit to Tallahassee has been so wonderful.I have learned many good practices of sustainablity in Tallahassee.I will incorporate such experience in my future teaching and research in China.Tallahassee is a green, clean, beautiful, and sustainable city. This city will become my good memory for ever.
Chunlong, I am glad to read that your experience in Tallahassee has become a life time memory! I also want to say that it was great meeting you in person in the ICMA offices and I look forward to working with you on many more China programs in the future! All the best, Judit
