ICMA’s Annual Conference is wrapping up today in Milwaukee, a city rich with history. As with much of the Midwest, Milwaukee was founded by Polish and German immigrants whose influence can be seen to this day. German names are still very common, and it was the choice language for many residents well into the 20th century. Manufacturing and brewing have been a major part of the Milwaukee economy. ICMA’s 97th Annual Conference in Milwaukee is just around the corner, and we’re happy to present a lineup of amazing keynote speakers to set the tone for the event.
