The city assesses just over 16 mills total, 12.06 of which moves into the General Operating Fund. (Public Safety services are supported by 1.99 designation within the total.) The General Fund Budget, approved for the 2017-2018 fiscal year, was $1,995,000; the total annual budget is $6,989,900 with an unrestricted fund balance of $554,351.
