The City of Eagle Lake, Minnesota is seeking an energetic, experienced, municipal leader with a strong work ethic to become a part of our team serving as the City Administrator. The position provides overall direction and coordination for city planning, administration and operations to ensure the effective provision of municipal services to the citizens of Eagle Lake, consistent with the goals, objectives, and policies established by the City Council.
The City of Eagle Lake, MN (Population 2992) is accepting applications for the position of City Administrator. Salary range is $70,000 to $90,000 per year with competitive benefits package. The City is part of the Mankato-North Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area. The City of Eagle Lake employs 8 full-time and 7 part-time staff. It also operates a volunteer Fire Department staffed by 25 paid on call firefighters. For fiscal year 2017, the City has an overall operating budget of $2,170,272.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, business administration, urban studies or related field and three (3) years administrative experience. Desirable qualifications include previous experience in an administrative leadership position.
