In April, the awards committee selected eCityGov Alliance, a consortium of cities in the King County, WA area, as the winner of the 2007 Havlick Award and Catawba County, NC as the winner of the Muehlenbeck Award.

eCityGov Alliance (WA) - J. Robert Havlick Innovation in Local Government Award.
The eCityGov Alliance has developed and implemented a multi-agency governance and service delivery model that shatters traditional service delivery silos between departments and across agency boundaries. eCityGov Alliance services exploit technology to align best practices across agencies that result in seamless, consistent, high-value service for citizens and businesses. Their model goes beyond the ability to provide services on-line by recognizing and embracing Internet service technologies as a means to change the way local governments provide service.
