Safford partnered with Graham County on its application to fund the Solomon Colonias Water Replacement Project.  The $1.965,088 award will replace 1 mile of the Bonita line, replace all water lines and taps, adds fire hydrants with a maximum separation of 500 ft. and reconstruct the streets.
David Kincaid said “This is a wonderful honor for the people of Solomon as well as those that worked so hard on this project including Jenny Howard, Rudy Maldonado, Eric Buckley and Randy Petty from the City of Safford, Will Wright from Graham County and the folks at Trueline who made us aware of the funding opportunity.  It is this type of collaboration that rewards our residents and allows all of us to do more with less.  We look forward to getting this project started.”
