• EPA OBLR - http://www.epa.gov/brownfields/  EPA's Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization offers information for local governments on leading practices, grants, and funding opportunities.

Local Government Brownfields Websites:

• NALGEP - http://www.nalgep.org/  The National Association of Local Government Environmental Professionals (NALGEP) hosts the Brownfields Showcase Community Network research project, funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response, which convenes representatives of the 28 Brownfields Showcase Communities to identify priority needs of local brownfields initiatives and effectively communicate those needs to key state and federal officials and other stakeholders.

• LGEAN - http://www.lgean.org ICMA is the organizational home for the Local Government Environmental Assistance Network, LGEAN features articles and news updates of interest to local governments and ICMA members.  It offers a bi-weekly e-newsletter.  Of particular interest for local governments is funding and grant opportunities for local governments.
